Meet the New Owners
Amy & Rick Smith have been married for 2 ½ years after meeting on EHarmony (it does work! ? ) We have 2 adult sons, Tim & Collin, & a very spoiled Schnoodle, Bella. We bought the business in January 2019 & are so excited to see what the future of Carpet Depot Floors has in store for us. Rick has been in the flooring business for over 30 years, from installation to sales/management to now owning a store.
We have always loved supporting other small businesses and consider it an honor to own one ourselves. We believe that small, family owned businesses are what makes up America & helps it run. We greatly appreciate all of the support of our small business.

Rick is an avid fan of anything fast-F1 racing, Indy Car, and he loves to race go karts. He is on a team of 5 who race throughout Central Florida.

Amy has played the piano for over 30 years & loves cooking & baking. They love being involved in local church & ministry.
Community Involvement
We love supporting local ministries & outreach programs. We have been able to support Hand in Hand’s recovery ministry (www.addictionhelp.solutions), Mt Dora Children’s Home & Single Parent Program (www.mdchome.org), & Hope with a Purpose (www.hopewithapurpose.com) in Lake County, FL. We look forward to continuing with these & other organizations as we grow.
